Cleaning Vacuum Cleaner: Some Important Tips

When it comes to clean your house, you immediately search for your vacuum cleaner. To start cleaning it, first of all check out the power supply and switch it off in case it is on. Then as a preliminary step, look at its wheels and wipe it off, so that while rolling it doesn’t leave any marks on the floor. Also it will be better if you change and wash the filters but before doing so, it should be properly dried for at least half a day. Also, when cleaning your home, it is quite obvious that your cheap vacuum cleaner must be capturing stray hair, which will definitely get entangled and stuck in the brush bristles. For removing them you can both cut them, and take out the hair smoothly or you can use another vacuum tool for doing the job. Just go along the brush bar and it will automatically clean it by suction.

Either you have a bagless cleaner or a vacuum with a bag, make this a habit to clean the dust accumulated in a bin, in quick intervals. In case of bagless vacuum cleaners, take the canister and empty it in a dustbin by holding it as far as possible from you and tap it for nearly 15-20 minutes to allow all the dirt particles to settle down. For cleaners with bags, never allow the bags to reach more than 50% level, then take it out properly and dispose it in a bin properly. However in modern vacuums, you just have to press a switch and the dirt is transferred to the bin automatically.
